Franklin’s Gardens can today announce that, regrettably, the Pussycat Dolls’ headline show due to be held on Sunday 5th July has been cancelled.
Due to the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic, the concert will no longer be staged at the home of Northampton Saints this summer – all general admission tickets will be automatically refunded by third-party ticket providers Ticketmaster and AXS via customers’ original payment method, as directed by event promoter Music Plus Sport Ltd.
“I’m sure that the thousands of Pussycat Dolls fans who bought tickets for what promised to be a special night are just as disappointed about this announcement as we are,” said Mark Darbon, Northampton Saints Chief Executive.
“I want to thank all general admission and hospitality customers for their patience and understanding while we have waited to see whether staging the event would be possible given the current public health situation – but of course the safety of concert-goers, staff and the artists themselves was our number one priority throughout.
“Franklin’s Gardens will continue to showcase some of the biggest musical acts on the planet in future, and we look forward to seeing what the rest of 2020 may hold for us.”
Mark Darbon, Northampton Saints Chief Executive
“In the meantime, we are hosting a socially-distanced ‘drive-in’ style event later in July, and look forward to safely welcoming the public back to Franklin’s Gardens for the first time for our Car Park Party!”
